Welcome

I was born & raised in Alness and still live here with my wife. I learned to drive when I was 17 and passed my test 1st time in Dingwall when the test centre was there.

I have worked in IT call centres for most of my working life but spent a couple of years driving the home shopping vans for a well known supermarket. For a few years now I have thought on and off about being a driving instructor but finally made the decision during late 2022 to find out more. I have spent the first half of 2023 learning and studying hard on what it takes to be a driving instructor and taking the very difficult tests that are required.

I have heard lots of scary stories about "shouty" driving instructors and those that know me say that my calm nature will be excellent in the driving instructor role. I also have good knowledge and experience of dealing with neurodivergence and disabilities so I intend to make learning to drive open to all who are able to.
